We are a pet friendly lodge for well-behaved domestic pets. For the safety of our guests with pet allergies, pets are restricted to certain rooms. The daily pet fee is $20/day, per pet.
Pets are only allowed on the Riverfront Lawn while under your control on a leash. We have a fenced-in area near the lawn where your pet can be off their leash and “do their business”.
Please pick up after your pet. Bags are available on site.

Guests may check in as early as 3:00 p.m. Check out time is 11:00 a.m. Late check out requests may only be accommodated on a case-by-case basis.

The Riviera Motor Lodge is a non-smoking facility. Please smoke outside, at least 30 feet from the property’s guest rooms and dispose of your cigarette butts. Guests who do not respect our policy and smoke in their room will be charged a $150 cleaning fee.

The Riviera is a family-friendly motor lodge, so please respect our quiet hours from 10:00 p.m. until 9:00 a.m.

On-site laundry services are not available. The closest laundromat to the lodge is located on Walnut Street.

Our office is open from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (and later in the summer). If you are on site and need after-hours assistance, please call (307) 710-3854.
If you’re experiencing an emergency at any time, please call 911.

We provide complimentary use of Schwinn bicycles of various sizes, and a Burley-style bike trailer. Helmets are available and we strongly encourage their use. For all gear check-out and suggested bike routes, please see our front office staff. We ask that you limit your time on the bikes to two hours during higher-demand periods.

For winter fun, we suggest you check out Saratoga’s beautiful surrounding forests in a pair of complimentary snowshoes. See our front office staff for rentals and trail recommendations in the Medicine Bow National Forest and Southwest of Encampment off the Battle Mountain Scenic Byway.

During the summer months, head out onto Saratoga Lake or the North Platte River for water activities. We recommend visiting Kyoty Sports, just down the street from the lodge, to rent a variety of equipment from small and large river tubes to paddle boards and canoes.

The River Room and the Riverfront Lawn are available for special events like weddings, family reunions, anniversaries, conferences etc. We are not able to accommodate events that are larger than 60 people.

The Hobo Hot Springs are located at 300 E Walnut Ave, ½ mile from the Riviera Motor Lodge.

The Platte Valley Community Center is located at 210 W Elm Ave. You will find fitness classes, a weight room and recreation programs. Be sure to check their website for ongoing events.
